SOLAR power use at Selangor State Secretariat building in Shah Alam has saved around RM8,000 of the average monthly electricity cost of RM500,000.

“Installation of 0.5MW solar panels at Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Building is able to lead to reduction in monthly electricity consumption of 2% to 3%,” said Selangor public health and environment committee chairman Jamaliah Jamaluddin.
