Groups visit SMG Pitt Street office to spread CNY cheer

TG Ocean Health Food Industries Sdn Bhd visited Star Media Group (SMG) at The Star Pitt Street in Jalan Masjid Kapitan Keling, George Town to spread Chinese New Year cheer.

On hand to welcome directors Datuk Ong Thor Guan, Koay Kai Bin and Choong Jin Kooi and marketing manager Reenee Teh were SMG client brand marketing general manager Simone Liong See Mun.

Teh said this marked their second visit to SMG following a similar one last year, also to celebrate Chinese New Year.

“We hope to strengthen our connection and explore opportunities for enhanced collaboration, particularly through advertising.”

Also stopping by SMG were Penang Wedding Professionals Association (PWPA) president Low Chin Siang and three committee members – secretary Evon Lye, treasurer Tan Chong Jing and chartered president Jason Tan.

Low said it was their inaugural visit to The Star office, adding that their association was only established in late 2018.

He said PWPA was the first association of its kind in Penang.“We have over 40 members, encompassing companies involved in event management, photography, make-up and related fields.”
