CITY developer SkyWorld Development Berhad achieves another significant milestone with its pioneer co-living project, SkyBlox @SkySanctuary in Setapak, Kuala Lumpur, attaining a record-high Qlassic rating of 86%.

This marks the highest rating ever attained by the company and underscores the quality of workmanship, adhering to the construction industry standard (CIS 7:2006) as dictated by the Construction Industry Development Board.

SkyBlox is an innovative co-living concept that stands as a first-of-its-kind in Setapak.

The project’s prefabricated design with a modular system allows for easy removal and relocation of units, providing for great flexibility for future developments.

Comprising 320 rooms with single beds, queen beds or bunk bed options, SkyBlox has living spaces ranging from 106 sq ft to 160 sq ft.

The rooms come equipped with essential amenities, including study tables, chairs, air conditioning, attached bathrooms with water heaters, and selected rooms that feature both refrigerators and electrical hobs.

SkyWorld Development Bhd chief executive officer Lee Chee Seng said the growing trend of co-living among millennials, positions SkyBlox as an innovative response to this growing demand.

“Coupled with exceptional facilities and SkyWorld’s commitment to quality, SkyBlox is poised to become the preferred choice for youth, students and young professionals seeking a unique and contemporary living space and experience.”

To foster community connections and promote healthy living, SkyBlox is positioned adjacent to the 2.92-acre SkySanctuary Central Park, an exclusive resident-only green lung that has a lake and a host of leisure and active facilities.

The development also boasts shared amenities, including a games room, communal kitchen, common lounge, laundry, alfresco dining space and parcel lockers.

Its proximity to SAMA Square, SkyWorld’s newest commercial hub in the SkySanctuary master development, further enhances convenience and lifestyle experiences for residents.

In addition to its outstanding Qlassic rating, SkyBlox earned the silver award at the Malaysian Institute of Interior Designers Reka Awards 2023 for Design Excellence, further consolidating its position as a landmark development in Kuala Lumpur.

The fully furnished units at SkyBlox are competitively priced from RM780 per month, providing affordable luxury living for city residents.
