The children of Good Samaritan Home had their festive wishes fulfilled through a collaboration between Wasco and Aeon Big.
Wishes do come true as 30 children from the Good Samaritan Home found out.
Their gifts were made possible by a Wasco Bhd corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiative just in time for some festive joy.
In the Christmas Wish project, Wasco in collaboration with Aeon Big (M) Sdn Bhd Klang hypermarket, granted each child’s wish.
The children had submitted their wishes through QR codes, and had asked for items ranging from anime-branded clothing to digital alarm clocks, black hoodies and a smartwatch.
Surplus funds were allocated for additional provisions bought for the home through Aeon Big gift cards as well as electrical items.
The provision of goodie bags added an additional layer of joy for the children.
Wasco chief strategy officer Ariesza Noor said, “At Wasco, our commitment to fostering inclusivity extends to supporting various festivities, transcending religious boundaries.
“Our staff’s generosity has allowed us to fulfil the wishes of 30 children at Good Samaritan Home, spreading joy and hope.
“Aeon Big’s collaboration has significantly brightened Christmas for these children, making a positive impact on their lives.”
A total of 25 volunteers from Wasco and Aeon Big Klang participated in the event.
