PENANG Governor Tun Ahmad Fuzi Abdul Razak was all smiles when he received a mock-up cover page of The Star with the headline “Home is where the heart is”.

The memento was presented by Star Media Group Bhd’s (SMG) chief executive officer Alex Yeow during his visit to the Yang di-Pertua’s official residence Seri Mutiara in Jalan Utama.

The cover page also featured a caricature of Ahmad Fuzi riding a bicycle with the iconic Komtar in the background.

Yeow said the meeting went well with discussions on various topics ranging from state affairs to community engagement.

“We had a pleasant meeting and also talked about hosting Penang Starwalk again.”

Starwalk is a popular annual event organised by The Star which debuted in Penang in 1978.

It became one of the most anticipated activities on the island.

Yeow said that during the meeting, Ahmad Fuzi also advised the media to give their support to the unity government and focus on the development of the country.

The visit lasted about two hours.

Also present was SMG client brand marketing general

manager Simone Liong.
