Luggage trade-in campaign to protect planet

SAMSONITE’s luggage trade-in campaign is back with another good cause to support.

Until May 1, customers can trade in their preloved luggage – regardless of brand, size and condition – and get a 30% discount on Samsonite’s Oc2Lite and 40% discount on ENOW luggage.

Last year’s luggage trade-in campaign raised RM37,000 for WWF’s Help Protect The Next Generation of Turtles initiative, which was aimed at eradicating plastic pollution and safeguarding turtles for generations to come.

This time, Samsonite is supporting WWF-Malaysia’s Earth Hour, said a press statement.

As part of Samsonite’s ongoing effort to protect and restore our planet, it is donating RM10 from each luggage purchase to WWF-Malaysia in conjunction with Earth Hour.

The aim is to spread awareness of the need to conserve the environment and address the global climate crisis to create a better future.

In addition to the donation, Samsonite Malaysia switched off non-essential lights in their retail stores from 8.30pm to 9.30pm to mark Earth Hour on March 25.

Featured this year in the trade-in campaign are the Oc2Lite and ENOW collections.

The Oc2Lite comes in three sizes (55cm, 75cm and 81cm) and three colours (Navy Blue, Jade Gold, and Black).

The luggage caters to all traveling needs. It is packed with features, lightweight and durable, with a reinforced shell to provide extra strength and manoeuvrability.

It is also expandable to allow for extra packing capacity.

The ENOW line is available in three sizes (55cm, 69cm and 75cm) and two colours (Black and Latte).

The line is said to incorporate state-of-the-art functionality with cutting-edge design, and embodies Samsonite’s craftsmanship, technology and attention to detail.

Customers can head over to any Samsonite store to take part in the luggage trade-in campaign and join Samsonite’s mission to create a better planet for everyone.
