Car on Jalan Ampang damaged by falling construction material


A CAR was seriously damaged along Jalan Ampang, Kuala Lumpur after a sheet of metal construction material fell on it.

According to a Twitter post (by a user called Shamin Shaimah) that has since gone viral which showed a picture of the accident, the metal pieces were believed to have come from a nearby construction site.

The photo of the accident had garnered 576 retweets as of press time.

It was learned that the incident happened around 10am in front of a convenience chain store outlet on Jalan Ampang.

Fortunately, the driver escaped uninjured.

Neither Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL) nor the police had received any report about the incident at press time but traffic police were already at the site.
