A DISTRAUGHT pet owner in Petaling Jaya is appealing for help finding her 15-year-old poodle Olivia, which has been missing since Monday (Dec 5) morning.
“I am devastated and frightened (to think) what could have happened to Olivia," real estate negotiator Agnes Cheong told The Star on Wednesday (Dec 7).
“She must be cold, hungry and frightened... realising this is breaking my heart," she added.
Olivia is believed to have squeezed out through the gap under the gate of Cheong's home in SEA Park.
“I noticed she had been standing near the gate the last few days and must have ventured out due to curiosity," Cheong said.
Olivia was a former illegal breeder’s dog that was rescued from a puppy mill and sent to PAWS Animal Welfare Society 10 years ago.
“I adopted her from PAWS and made it up to her for the misery she went through as a puppy mill dog by giving her a good and comfortable life," Cheong added.
Olivia was wearing a striped blue doggy T-shirt when it went missing.
Anyone who comes across the dog is urged to take it in and call Cheong at 012-3002112.
