Loving the EV lifestyle

XC40 Recharge Pure Electric.

VOLVO Car Malaysia’s first electric vehicle model in Malaysia, the XC40 Recharge Pure Electric, has received encouraging sales numbers that led to the model’s allocation for 2022 being fully sold out.

However, fans of this electric vehicle (EV) need not worry as the company will begin taking orders again with the introduction of Model Year 2023, with exciting new updates to be announced soon.

Interested buyers can book a test drive or make any online orders via www.volvocars.com/my upon the announcement.

It is easy to see the reasons for the XC40 Recharge Pure Electric’s high appeal among Malaysians adopting EVs and a more sustainable lifestyle.

The compact zero emissions model comes with a stylish flair, delivers an exhilarating best-in-class driving performance (0-100kph in 4.9 seconds) with its two-motor 408hp powertrain and is capable of a driving range of up to 418km* on a single charge.

If those are not enough, the XC40 Recharge Pure Electric also gets a comprehensive suite of upgraded Advanced Driver Assistance System and smart features such as active cruise control, City Safety, blind spot information system, lane keeping aid and cross traffic alert, to make the EV as safe as any Volvo.

Also by being locally assembled, buyers can access the XC40 Recharge Pure Electric at a more favourable price compared with the same segment of fully-imported EVs.

Nevertheless, the XC40 Recharge Pure Electric still comes fully loaded with luxurious features, among them an aluminium interior decor styling with dark leather/nubuck combination upholstery, an Android-powered 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system that offers Google Maps, Google Assistant and Google Play Store, and 360-degree around view camera system.

Don’t miss your chance to get up close with the XC40 Recharge Pure Electric that will be among the vehicles displayed at the CarSifu Auto Show 2022 at The Mall, Mid Valley Southkey Johor Baru from Oct 26-30.
