MPK urged to desilt drain that overflows during rain

Taman Alam Nyata residents want MPK to desilt and remove trash at the main drain across their homes that is causing flash floods after downpours.

FLASH floods are a bane to over 350 households in Taman Alam Nyata, off Jalan Tahir Manan in Kapar, no thanks to the neglected main drain that has not been desilted for months.

On top of that, the drain is overgrown with wild grass on both sides and Klang Municipal Council (MPK) has failed to remove trash that chokes certain stretches of the drain.
