Sungai Rasa Water Treatment Plant upgrades completed, says Air Selangor


AIR Selangor Sdn Bhd's (Air Selangor) asset upgrading and maintenance works at Sungai Rasa Water Treatment Plant on Wednesday (Aug 10) were completed at 5.30am.

Air Selangor Corporate communication head Elina Baseri, in a statement, apologised to the consumers for any inconvenience caused and Air Selangor is currently working towards ensuring the water supply recovery process in all 188 affected areas in Hulu Selangor runs smoothly.

The water supply recovery will start at 8am on Wednesday (Aug 10) and is expected to fully recover at 8am on Thursday (Aug 11)

She said that consumers were advised to obtain official information on water supply disruptions through all official communication channels of Air Selangor, namely the Air Selangor application, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and www.airselangor.com.

"Any queries and complaints can be submitted at 15300 or the help centre in the Air Selangor application," she said.

On Tuesday (Aug 9), it was reported that 188 areas in Hulu Selangor experienced water supply disruption for up to 40 hours due to asset upgrading and maintenance works of Sungai Rasa Water Treatment Plant and a slight delay occurred at 10.30pm but will not affect the full water supply recovery to the 188 areas.
