THIS year’s Selangor Xtiv Virtual programme kicked off with a Jelajah Selangor Xtiv 2022 event held at Dataran Pantai Morib, Banting. The event had a special focus on motorsports, especially motorcycles.

Other activities held included esports and community sports competitions, a retro concert and a martial arts demonstration.

Selangor human capital development, sports and youth generation development committee chairman Mohd Khairuddin Othman said in a statement that the state wished to forge ties with youths of various backgrounds via the programme.

“Youths are an important asset to the state and a structured approach is needed to encourage more youths to join development activities.

“The state is proud to note that Selangor youths are serious about honing their talent,” he said.

Jelajah Selangor Xtiv 2022 saw the participation of Y15zr Club Malaysia and several other motorcycle clubs.

Mohd Khairuddin said the good response was a sign of support for the state’s efforts.

“Through the #SelangorBangkit spirit, we are committed to revitalising youth development programmes,” he said.
