Post-flood repair works for 48 state and federal roads in Selangor to cost almost RM50mil

THE Selangor Public Works Department (JKR) estimates that it would cost RM22.56mil to repair state roads (excluding slope construction) in five districts in Selangor that were damaged by the year-end floods last year.

“This is based on an initial assessment by Selangor JKR. The repair works for state roads will come under the post-flood infrastructure rehabilitation programme using the Malaysian Road Records Information System (Marris) allocation for 2022,” said state executive councillor Ng Sze Han.
