Deepening of retention ponds in KL to cope with floods

SEVERAL measures, including deepening of flood retention ponds, are in place to reduce the impact of floods on city folk.

Federal Territories of Kuala Lumpur Drainage and Irrigation Department (JPSWPKL) director Mohd Azmin Husin said the department had started several projects that would reduce the risk of flash floods in the city.
