International furniture exhibition postponed to July

The Malaysian International Furniture Fair (MIFF) will now take place from July 6 to 9 at Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre (Mitec) and World Trade Centre Kuala Lumpur (WTCKL).

In addition to a physical exhibition, MIFF 2022 will also provide a digital exhibition solution – MIFF Furniverse – to reach a wider audience and continue to serve the sourcing needs of the global furniture community.

At the same time, the exclusive Valued Visitor Programme (VVP) will continue to offer complimentary hotel stays to buyers who are interested in visiting the physical show.

“In view of the announcement that Malaysia will delay the opening of its borders to international travellers, we have decided to proactively reschedule MIFF 2022 from March 8 to 11 to July 6 to 9 to ensure that the show is as successful as possible.

“We believe that the new dates will allow exhibitors to meet with buyers from around the world who have longed for face-to-face meetings,” said MIFF general manager Karen Goi.

The MIFF team will continue to closely monitor the current Covid-19 situation to ensure a safe and successful environment for both exhibitors and visitors, in accordance with the government’s standard operating procedure and the organiser’s Informa AllSecure policy.

Visitor registration will be open soon. For details, visit www.miff.com.my
