Fried chicken aficionados can now enjoy Chicago-style fried chicken in Kuala Lumpur.

Chicago Chicken City opened its newest eatery in Aeon Cheras Selatan, Cheras in Kuala Lumpur, which is set to capture the Klang Valley market.

The chain has two other outlets — in TMG Malls in Bandar Indera Mahkota and Jalan Tanjung Lumpur in Kuantan, Pahang.

Chicago Chicken City Sdn Bhd general manager Lim Teck Huak said that following the success of its flagship store in Kuantan, which opened late last year, the chain is ready to share the much-loved comfort food with Klang Valley folks.

“Chicago is the third largest city in the United States and fried chicken is popular there.

“Now, we are offering a new tantalising option to all fried chicken lovers,” he said.

Lim said the company aspired to have up to 20 restaurants open nationwide by this year’s end, and have 100 eateries in three years.

‘’We are looking to open in Mytown, Kuala Lumpur, and Aeon Shah Alam.

“Klang Valley folks can expect more quality and freshly fried, big-sized chicken marinated with a secret recipe from the restaurant.

“Our products have halal certification and can be enjoyed by all Malaysians,” he highlighted.

Diners can choose the original or spicy flavour for their fried chicken.

Other options on the menu are Chicagozilla Burger, Classic Coney and nuggets.

Side dishes include fries, mashed potato, coleslaw, cheese wedges and flavoured rice.

Also present at the launch in Cheras were Chicago Chicken City Sdn Bhd business development head Adrian Chin, Tunas Manja group managing director Datuk YK Chin and executive director Datuk YC Chin.
