Contributions, CNY goodies for school, care homes and elderly


Selangor Welfare and Social Development Council receiving a donation of RM10,000 for its flood relief fund from Xim Phou Moon Welfare Society Malaysia.

IN conjunction with the upcoming Chinese New Year, a charity organisation organised visits to a school, care homes and a village to distribute contributions and gifts.

Xim Phou Moon Welfare Society Malaysia (XPM) founder Datuk Tan Leong Hoo recently visited SJK(C) Khai Tee in Kuala Selangor, Rumah Amal Cheshire Selangor in Batu Caves, Shepherd’s Centre Foundation in Semenyih and Kampung Baru Sungai Chua in Kajang to send welfare aid and new year goodies.

XPM and religious organisation Tao Jung Moon (TJM) donated RM5,000 and RM10,000 each to SJK(C) Khai Tee, Rumah Amal Cheshire and Shepherd’s Centre Foundation.

In addition, Selangor Welfare and Social Development Council also received a donation of RM10,000 each from XPM and TJM for its flood relief fund.

Nine elderly individuals living on their own in Kampung Sungai Chua were each recipients of Chinese New Year gifts and RM300 ang pow from XPM and TJM.
