Payment options for assessment


SHAH Alam City Council is urging property owners in the city to settle their assessment tax for the first term of 2022 on or before Feb 28.

Its Corporate and Public Relations head Shahrin Ahmad said ratepayers had various options to make payments.

He said they could choose to pay online at eps.mbsa.gov.my or via online banking using JomPAY.

Users need to key in the biller code 7567, their account number in the Ref 1 column and phone number in Ref 2, before making payment.Assessment tax can also be paid over the counters at MBSA office during weekdays from 8am to 5pm.

Shahrin urged property owners to settle their assessment before the deadline so that MBSA could properly manage domestic rubbish collection, clean and maintain public infrastructures such as roads and drains, as well as build more public parks and playgrounds in the future.
