Spreading festive vibes with special offerings

Dignity for Children Foundation is spreading some “roar-some” vibes this Chinese New Year through the sale of cookies and fabric ang pow envelopes.

The NGO’s transformational enterprises — bake X dignity and sew X dignity — have put together festive items that will give Malaysians the opportunity to uplift each other.

While bake X dignity is selling Orange Pistachio cookies and Florentines in jars or part of festive gift sets (pic), sew X Dignity has created “waste-not” fabric ang pow envelopes called Dignitypao.

The Dignitypao comes in three auspicious designs — Transformational, Oriental and Abundance.

The Transformational and Oriental designs are available in a set of three for RM38 while Abundance comes in a set of five for RM58.

Aside from Dignitypao, sew X Dignity is also offering “envelopes of blessings” as customised corporate gifts.

The envelopes, which come in three colours, are RM38 each.

Dignity head of enterprises, Natalie Tan said, “Our lunar new year offerings are aimed at giving those working in our various enterprises a sense of empowerment and dignity.

“We want to give them a hand-up, not handouts, even as they seek to earn a living.

“The long-term goal is for them to enjoy a sustainable livelihood with the support of fellow Malaysians.”
