MBSJ mulling action against unvaccinated staff

Subang Jaya City Council (MBSJ) is considering redesignating employees who refuse to be vaccinated against Covid-19, and suspending a special allowance for enforcement personnel who refuse to be inoculated.

The issue of unvaccinated council staffers was brought up at MBSJ’s full board meeting yesterday, when it was revealed that of the 15 who had yet to be vaccinated, five refused to get their jabs and only two had given valid doctor’s letters exempting them due to medical conditions.
