A DURIAN orchard owner’s way of selling the King of Fruits based on the weight of their arils in Jitra, Kedah, has become the talk of town after news about it went viral on social media.

Sharliza Shahidan, 52, also known as Kak Liza, said she came up with the idea of weighing the arils (the pulp around a seed or ulas in Malay) to decide the price of her durians.
