IT TOOK 10 years but Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL) has finally demolished a pedestrian bridge in front of the Malaysian Association for the Blind (MAB) in Brickfields, following residents’ pleas.

The bridge, built in 2011, was meant to benefit the visually-impaired community but it became a white elephant due to lack of use and safety concerns.
