WHEN the first movement control order was enforced in March last year, an optometrist saw it as an opportunity to slow down and spend more time on her hobby.

Optical shop owner Bridget Tang, 43, said while many business owners lamented about the expected slowdown, she viewed it as a chance to focus on what she enjoyed, namely horticulture.
