Hotel introduces own food delivery service platform

The Malaysian Set is one of several family platter options available under Sofilicious.

SOFITEL Kuala Lumpur Damansara is introducing its new food order and delivery service via its dedicated website called Sofilicious.

Sofilicious offers a selection of 150 food and beverage items, available as a la carte, family meals and combo sets.

The dishes range from soups, appetisers and main course meals to desserts, whole cakes, pastries and beverages.

Customers can expect a wide range of cuisines from Asian to Western flavours.

These include local oxtail beef broth (RM18), beef or chicken satay (RM18 for six sticks), grilled salmon rice bowl (RM24), mamak-style fried noodles (RM20), Nyonya curry laksa (RM23), Nasi Goreng Istimewa (RM23), Cherry Wood Roast Duck (RM80 to RM150), Wok-fried Prawns with Spicy Chilli Paste (RM98), Marinated Rack of Lamb (RM48), creamy potato gnocchi (RM22), 10-inch smoked turkey pizza (RM30) and grilled Black Angus beef rib-eye (RM168).

The family platters are based on cuisines and cater for groups of two or four (RM50 to RM150, depending on the dishes and number of people).

Due to the Covid-19 outbreak, with more people working from home and the surge in demand for food delivery services, the hotel is responding by shifting from dine-in to online food purchase.

Sofitel Kuala Lumpur Damansara is a certified Accor all-safe hotel, where Covid-19 standard operating procedure is always maintained, from food preparation and handling until delivery with clean, safe and hygienic practices.

Sofilicious is available daily from 8am to 8pm during the lockdown and will readjust its operational time according to government protocol.
