Arch to honour contributions of the Chinese

AN ARCH will be built in Jalan Mustapha Al Bakri in Ipoh to commemorate the hardship faced by the Chinese community in the country.

Perak Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCCCI) president Datuk Liew Sew Yee said the arch would represent the community’s sacrifices towards nation building over the last 200 years.
