Thumbs up for cheaper toll

MOTORISTS from Penang island and mainland ushered in the new year by paying cheaper toll charges at the Sultan Abdul Halim Mu’adzam Shah Bridge.

Among them was Syed Arafath Syed Mustapha, 40, who lauded the government’s decision to lower the toll rate at the second Penang bridge from RM8.50 to RM7 beginning Jan 1.
