Net food exporter target

KUCHING: Sarawak is targetting to plant 100,000ha each of durian, pineapple, coconut and banana by 2030 as part of its efforts to become a net food exporter.

Deputy Chief Minister Datuk Amar Douglas Uggah said the state Agriculture Department was entrusted to identify suitable land for planting these crops.
