‘Unhealthy’ levels of haze

PEOPLE living in most parts of Selangor, the Federal Territory, Negri Sembilan and Melaka are urged to take precautions as air quality has reached unhealthy levels because of the transboundary haze blanketing parts of Peninsular Malaysia.

Air Pollutant Index (API) readings taken from the API of Malaysia website at 7pm yesterday showed Batu Muda, which is located in northern Kuala Lumpur near Batu Caves, was at 157.
