Luxurious stay in suites with private pool beckons

FOUR lucky Penang Starwalk participants will get a taste of luxury, courtesy of the Lexis Hotel Group.

The award-winning group is sponsoring two 3D/2N stay at Premium Pool Suites of Lexis Suites Penang in Teluk Kumbar, where lucky winners can unwind in a private pool overlooking the Straits of Malacca plus a complimentary breakfast for two.

The group is sponsoring another two 2D/1N stay at a Premium Pool Villa with complimentary breakfast for two at Lexis Hibiscus Port Dickson.

These prizes, worth RM 11,655.76, will be part of Penang Starwalk 2019’s much awaited lucky draw prizes.

Lexis Suites Penang general manager Ben Ho said the hotel’s objective was to encourage a healthy lifestyle and to support the Penang 2030 vision of a family-focused state.

“Over the years, Penang Starwalk has grown into a much anticipated sporting event.

He handed over a mock cheque of the value of the prizes to Star Media Group client brand marketing senior representative Wong Mei Choo at the hotel recently.

Sharing Ho’s enthusiasm to promote a healthy lifestyle was Lexis Suites Penang assistant communication manager Jason Chee.

“This is the third consecutive year we are stepping in as a sponsor. Last year, 14 of us joined the event and had so much fun. This year, 20 of us are joining, ” Chee said.

Lexis Hotel Group, winner of the coveted BrandLaureate SMEs Best Brands Awards 2016-2017 in the Best Brand in Hospitality (Hotels and Resorts) category, is known for managing award-winning unique water chalets and pool villas such as Lexis Port Dickson, Grand Lexis Port Dickson, Lexis Hibiscus and Lexis Suites Penang.

Lexis Suites Penang is the only hotel on the island which offers guests the luxury of individual pools and steam rooms in each of its 222 suites.

Each room features two king-sized beds, a steam room and a private pool at the suite balcony, with a view of the sea.

Penang Starwalk 2019 will be held at Gurney Drive on Sept 22. It is organised by Star Media Group Bhd.

Gurney Paragon Mall is the venue provider while F&N Beverages Marketing Sdn Bhd is the official beverage partner.

Citizen Watches (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd is the official timekeeper.

The event’s platinum sponsor is YTL Communications Sdn Bhd while Tenaga Nasional Berhad is the gold sponsor.

The silver sponsors are Indofood (M) Food Industries Sdn Bhd, Wiitrac Elevator Sdn Bhd, BookDoc, Penang Turf Club and Ewein Zenith Sdn Bhd.

Besides a quick-dry T-shirt and goodie bags, participants who complete the walk will receive a certificate and also a chance to win prizes.

The Yang di-Pertua Negeri Tun Abdul Rahman Abbas is expected to flag off the event.
