National unity on the table

Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department for Religious Affairs Datuk Seri Dr Mujahid Yusof Rawa (left) meeting with opinion leaders for a discussion on Islam, moderation and national unity ahead of National Day.

The inaugural session at Concorde Hotel Kuala Lumpur was attended by top media personalities from the industry. The Concorde Club forum is a monthly discussion on current topics by selected speakers initiated by veteran journalists, Star Media Group adviser Datuk Seri Wong Chun Wai (second from left) and Bernama chairman Datuk Seri Azman Ujang.

Wong said this was a private initiative to bring key figures, especially Cabinet members, to meet and speak directly to stakeholders in a closed-door environment. — S.S. KANESAN/The Star
