NOTHING beats a cup of chilled Milo fresh from the familiar Milo van.

Nestle Products Sdn Bhd is bringing the well-loved green van to the upcoming #AnakAnak Malaysia Walk once again.

Participants can expect the usual beeline to get their share of the cold chocolate and malt drink, on a first-come, first-served basis.

Its consumer marketing manager Maria Murni Nur Azmi said the brand had been supporting the event since its inception five years ago.

“Milo strongly believes in advocating grass-root sports. We believe sports is a great teacher and it holds good values in developing the nation.

“This event, which promotes sports and unity, is synomous with what the brand stands for, ” she said.

She also shared that the event was in line with Nestle’s AktifNegaraku initiative launched last year.

“Sports has been part of our DNA for over 60 years.

“AktifNegaraku aims at not just nourishing Malaysians but also encourages the nation to embrace a healthy lifestyle and lead an active lifestyle.

In celebration of National and Malaysia Day, Milo has also launched its limited-edition 1.5kg Milo tin wrapped in two unique “unity” designs.

“When you look through big or small moments, there is always a Milo story attached to it with people sharing a cup of Milo in the background.

“Those who went to Malaysian schools will always remember standing in line for a cup of Milo from the van.

“Little do we know, these moments, regardless of race, culture or background, unites everyone and we are very proud that Milo is part of it, ” she said.

The limited-edition tins of Milo are available on Lazada, Shopee and selected major stores.
