WORK to clear fallen branches and twigs as well as uprooted trees and debris at public places and by the roadside are still ongoing after the tail-end of Typhoon Lekima left a trail of destruction in many parts of Penang and Kedah.
Penang housing, local government, town and rural development committee chairman Jagdeep Singh Deo said clearing works were 95% completed after the storm hit the state on Friday night.
