Johor seeks help in pollution crisis


Fire and Rescue Department personnel using gas detectors to check the quality of air in Pasir Gudang following the pollution incident.

JOHOR BARU: Companies and non-governmental organisations should come forward to help by providing equipment like gas detectors to be placed at schools in Pasir Gudang district round the clock to detect harmful chemicals in the air.

Pasir Gudang MP Hassan Abdul Karim said the state government was using all resources available to identify the source and location of the chemical pollution in the area.
