Oasis of respite in the city

Cubic Botanical @ South Bangsar, a freehold project by Ancubic Capital Sdn Bhd, is one of the most anticipated developments in the commercial hotbed of Kuala Lumpur.

Thanks to its close proximity to the 80ha of forest reserves at Bukit Gasing and Taman Rimba Bukit Kerinchi, Cubic Botanical residents can enjoy fresh air and a healthy lifestyle.

“I believe Kuala Lumpur will become one of the best eco-living cities in the near future,” Low said, adding that the residency’s green concept stemmed from The Butchart Gardens in Victoria, Canada.

“It is ideal for nature lovers and families who seek healthy and peaceful living,” he said.

Another selling point is Cubic Botanical’s strategic location beside the New Pantai Expressway (NPE) interchange, so residents can access major roads with ease.

Furthermore, the project is within walking distance of Pantai Dalam KTM station, providing access to the city’s main transportation hub of KL Sentral.

Cubic Botanical also has a rainwater harvesting system.

The project includes 22 residential facilities located in five zones called Aqua Paradise, Bird of Paradise, Camellia, Forest and Sky.

The exclusive facilities, including a 25m swimming pool, wading pool, gymnasium, rooftop and covered barbecue area as well as multipurpose hall, lounge area and jogging track, are aimed at creating a better living environment.

There are four types of unit plans – Type A, Type B1-a, Type C and Type D, measuring at 518sq ft, 650sq ft, 805sq ft and 900sq ft respectively, with prices starting from RM380,000.

Low said the company had proposed to Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL) infrastructure improvements, which include a bridge to the entrance of Taman Rimba, a bus stop and a sheltered walkway to Pantai Dalam KTM station.

Federal Territories Minister Khalid Abdul Samad was present at the Cubic Botanical pre-launch ceremony.

“The ministry is studying the implementation of various new policies in beautifying the city, including the embellishment of existing buildings and the beautification of parks, gardens, roundabouts and historical sites,” said Khalid.

“We believe the development of Cubic Botanical is in line with the philosophy and aspirations of the new government, and it will succeed in meeting the needs of the current generation,” he added.

Khalid said the FT ministry and DBKL would consider Low’s proposal.
