Miri City Council to take legal action


Yii chairing Miri City Council full meeting that announced legal action has begun on social media individuals who slandered the council’s handling of the rabies outbreak in the city.

MIRI: Mayor Adam Yii has labelled allegations on social media by certain quarters over the shooting of dogs since the rabies outbreak as slanderous.

“We have directed our lawyers to begin legal action against the people who made nasty comments on Facebook. We also have lodged a police report against the person/persons.
