Luxury lifestyle brand opens at rooftop venue in Kuala Lumpur


Ce La Vi, a globally recognised lifestyle brand which is known for its rooftop bars, opens at Ilham Tower in Kuala Lumpur.

NOTHING says luxury quite like panoramic views and decadent cuisine; which is what award-winning and globally recognised Ce La Vi brand hopes to bring to Kuala Lumpur.

Ce La Vi aims to become the ultimate in luxury lifestyle dining and entertainment destination in Malaysia by presenting its inventive brand of cuisine, mixology, and entertainment to the Malaysian public for the first time.

Situated at Ilham Tower on Jalan Binjai in Kuala Lumpur, Ce La Vi’s location on Level 37 offers 360-degree views of the city’s skyline.

To kick things off, a two-day grand launch party was held, recently, to show off the new premises.

Present at the grand launch were Ce La Vi Kuala Lumpur co-owners Cavaliere Modesto Marini and Elizabeth Marini, its global executive chairman Mark Bedingham and regional director Harry Apostolides.

“We are thrilled to be able to share the Ce La Vi experience with Malaysia and look forward to providing guests with the exciting multi-sensorial journey for which the brand is renowned,” said Marini.

“We are delighted that Kuala Lumpur is now part of the Ce La Vi family. It is a multicultural city that is proud of its Asian heritage and embraces modernity and dynamism, which underscores the brand ethos,” said Bedingham.

“The worlds of music, mixology and food will come together here to create an unforgettable experience for our guests in Malaysia.”

Besides being located at popular rooftop locations in each city, the brand DNA revolves around four other core pillars – Asian-inspired interior design; innovative Modern Asian cuisine and cocktail mixology as well as an entertainment line-up comprising local and international deejays.

The Kuala Lumpur destination showcases three multi-faceted spaces within its 1,150sq m premises – a restaurant serving Modern Asian cuisine, indoor and outdoor lounge and an exclusive cigar room.

Its Modern Asian cuisine focuses on time-honoured Japanese creations playfully re-interpreted by introducing ingredients and techniques drawing strong influences from pan-Asian cuisines.

Ce La Vi Kuala Lumpur edition is a partnership between restaurateur and entrepreneur Marini, and L Catterton Asia, the Asian private equity business sponsored by LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton.

Ce La Vi is also found in Singapore, Hong Kong and Sri Lanka and is in the process of expanding its global presence to Dubai, Shanghai, Taipei and Tokyo.
