A new tree for every baby born to council staff

FOR every baby born to a Seberang Prai Municipal Council (MPSP) staff member, a Sapodilla (Manilkara Zapota) or Water Apple (Syzygium Aqueum) tree will be planted.

MPSP president Datuk Rozali Mohamud said that under the One Baby, One Tree community programme, 208 trees were sponsored by councillors at a cost of RM4,800.
