SANDAKAN: The Royal Malaysian Navy (RMN) has reinforced security in the eastern waters off the state with the arrival of two more patrol vessels — KD Jerong and KD Pope.

The two patrol vessels, which were previously based at the Kota Kinabalu RMN base, were transferred to the Naval Region 2 Base (Mawilla) 2.
