Late Balakong rep remembered as Kajang councillors take their oath

THE swearing-in ceremony for Kajang municipal councillors for the term 2018-2020 took on a sombre note when councillor Thiagarajah Rajagopal requested a moment’s silence in remembrance of the late Balakong assemblyman Eddie Ng.

Thiagarajah, who has been a councillor for Kajang Municipal Council (MPKj) since 2013, described the swearing-in ceremony as an emotional one, as it was Ng who had roped him into the council.
