MEMBERS of the LGBTQ (Lesbians, Gays, Bisexuals, Transgenders and Queers) community should not be afraid and should fully embrace who they are, said an academician.

At a workshop titled ‘Helping LGBTQ’ in Universiti Sains Malaysia, teachers, counsellors, nurses and doctors had a glimpse into the challenges and discrimination that the community faced.
