DAP Seri Kembangan candidate decries 'fake news' photo

It ain't funny, and Ean Yong is not laughing.

A MISLEADING picture of Seri Kembangan DAP candidate and incumbent Ean Yong Hian Wah contesting under the Barisan Nasional flag has been circulating among Seri Kembangan residents through WhatsApp and causing concern.

The picture shows Ean Yong addressing residents at a kopitiam, while his assistant, Wong Siew Ki, holds up a board displaying the BN logo. 

In a press conference he held today, Ean Yong said his people were alerted to this confusing picture by concerned residents.

“This is fake news, and it’s a serious issue that will create confusion among residents as to what DAP’s stand is,” he said.
