Company buckles up for campaign to incorporate healthy lifestyle at work

AIRBUS Customer Services Sdn Bhd, a wholly owned subsidiary of Airbus in Malaysia, has launched its Airbus Activ Campaign to promote and inculcate healthy lifestyle habits among its employees.

The campaign was initiated by Airbus staff who want to encourage and support each other to incorporate healthy routines at their workplaces.

This also underscores Airbus Customer Services Malaysia’s commitment to ensure a safe and healthy workforce.

Airbus Customer Services senior vice-president Philippe Mhun, who launched the campaign at the local office in Sepang recently applauded the efforts of the programme.

“I am very pleased to launch this campaign for our staff in Malaysia.

“In services, it can be challenging to balance the demands of work with a healthy lifestyle.

“This Activ Programme is a great initiative as healthy bodies and minds will result in a higher level of productivity, efficiency and operational safety,” said Mhun.

The campaign will encourage staff to exercise, adopt healthy eating habits and undertake an active lifestyle at work.

Among the incentives are subsidies for the purchase of Garmin Fitness Trackers for those who signed on.

Although the Activ Campaign will start with Airbus Customer Services Malaysia, the goal is to expand its reach to cover Airbus employees across all divisions in Malaysia as well as the aircraft manufacturers’ Malaysian industrial and defence joint-venture partners.
