KOTA KINABALU: A familiar legend among Sabah’s Kadazandusun community is hitting the big screens in time for next year’s Kaamatan.

Generations of Kadazandusun have heard the story of Huminodun, the daughter of the gods Kinoingan and Suminundu, who sacrificed herself so that humankind could have food which is the basis of the Kaamatan or Harvest Festival celebrations.
