Sleepless night for flood victims

Several flood victims seeking shelter at a flood relief centre in Kampung Lahar, Baling, Kedah.

A TOTAL of 126 families from seven villages in Baling, Kedah, had to be evacuated to relief centres after their houses were submerged in water about a metre deep.

The affected villages were Kampung Siput, Kampung Lahar, Kampung Bongor Baru, Kampung Batu 48, Kampung Haji Abas, Kampung Batu 60 and Kampung Bukit Sebelah.
