THIS Ramadan, M Social Resort Penang is serving up a daily buffet showcasing local heritage and break-of-fast favourites.
At the hotel’s Beast & Butterflies eatery, the “Kembara Wira and Manja” buffet is built around two themes inspired by the sun bear mascots of Visit Malaysia 2026.
Wira highlights bold, adventurous flavours while Manja focuses on comforting, classic dishes.
“Ramadan is about reflection, togetherness and meals shared with loved ones,” said hotel general manager Jasmine Keh.
“Our spread is designed for families, friends and colleagues to break fast together in a relaxed setting.”
The buffet features a mix of nostalgic favourites with Penang’s iconic dishes.
To keep things fresh, four menus will be on rotation throughout the fasting month.
Signature staples include Roasted Whole Lamb, beef rendang and nasi briyani, while all-time favourites such as chicken and beef satay, murtabak as well as kerabu (local salad) and Penang pasembur are to be expected.
On Fridays through Sundays, guests can also enjoy gamelan music performances and a photo booth for family moments.
The buffet is priced at RM138nett per adult and RM69nett for senior citizens and children.
The buka puasa experience is available from Feb 22 to March 18, 6.30pm to 10pm.
