A POPULAR golden lager has a new packaging to reflect a progressive spirit.
The new symbol for Tiger Beer was unveiled by Heineken Malaysia Bhd via a projection mapping display on the facade of its Sungei Way brewery.
The new look features a rising tiger symbolising ambition and determination.
This image is set against a modernised palette of deep blue, dynamic orange and premium silver.
Heineken Malaysia marketing director Willemijn Sneep described the palette as energising.
“It’s designed to stand out, to spark something in you, and to inspire you to ‘uncage your tiger’.
“And what better place to celebrate this transformation than right here at the brewery where the magic happens, and alongside the incredible people behind the brew.
“As we roll out this new identity globally, our mission remains the same; to inspire people to ‘uncage’ their courage and embrace bold possibilities,” she added.
Sneep said Tiger Beer has always stood for breaking barriers and challenging the status quo since its creation in 1932.
The lager, she said, was seen as a bold brand born from the streets of Asia and the company was proud to unveil the new packaging.
“This is more than just a packaging update.
“It’s a bold step forward and a refreshed visual identity that reflects who we are today – progressive, fearless and constantly evolving.
“Inspired by the claw-shaped elements in our logo, our new design symbolises unstoppable ambition and drive to keep moving forward,” she elaborated.
To celebrate the new packaging, Heineken Malaysia is running a nationwide “Roaring New Look, Same Great Taste” campaign and Tiger Beer promotions until June 30.
In a media statement, the company said that consumers who purchased three big bottles of Tiger Beer or Tiger Crystal at selected coffeeshops or food courts would receive an exclusive foldable tote bag, while stocks last.
Consumers who purchase Tiger Beer, Tiger Crystal or Tiger Soju flavoured lager at participating bars, pubs, hypermarkets, supermarkets, convenience stores and 99 Speedmarts can submit their entries to redeem exclusive rewards.
These include the 8g 999.9 Tiger gold bottle or the limited-edition Tiger travel bag.
Meanwhile, online shoppers on Drinkies, Shopee and Lazada who purchase qualifying Tiger bundles may receive a Tiger travel bag or RM5 Touch ‘n Go eWallet credit, while stocks last.
