KUANTAN: Ornamental trees should not be cut down or damaged as some are listed as a natural heritage.

Pahang Tourism and Culture Committee state executive councillor Datuk Seri Mohd Sharkar Shamsuddin said if such trees need to be cut down for safety or security reasons, permission must be obtained from the local authority’s Landscaping Department first, he added.
