Authorities step up enforcement against counterfeits

JOHOR BARU: Over RM58,060 worth of counterfeit slippers of various brands were seized by the state Domestic Trade, Co-operatives and Consumerism Ministry in Batu Pahat.

Its director Nor Nekman Jaimon said that a team of 10 personnel from the ministry raided premises that had been operating for about three years at the Taman Wawasan industrial area.
