23 immigrants nabbed over illegal exit

Marine police managed to intercept a group of 23 illegal immigrants from returning to their home country in a raid near Batu Layar Sungai Rengit.

KOTA TINGGI: Marine police managed to stop a group of 23 immigrants including three women from returning illegally to Indonesia in a raid near Batu Layar Sungai Rengit here.

Southern Region II marine police commander Asst Comm Paul Khiu Khon Chiang said that they received a tip-off on the route that the illegals were taking to enter and exit the country.
