Security guards held over expired firearms licence

JOHOR BARU: Two security guards were detained during a crime prevention campaign for allegedly carrying firearms with expired licences at a shopping mall here.

The guards from separate goldsmith shops, were personally questioned by state CID chief Senior Asst Comm Kamarul Zaman Mamat who was walking around the mall with his officers handing out pamphlets and stickers during the noon campaign.
